Brief Description
Emergency Line 114 was established for persons with hearing loss in 2014. It is used to report violence and is the first emergency service based on deaf communication technology through video calls. It is operated by staff trained on the sign language at the Command and Control Department of the Public Security Directorate. Assistance was provided to women with disabilities in emergencies and cases of violence or exploitation.
